Gabriel Jesus has confirmed he accepted a reduced salary in order to seal a move to Barcelona.
The Brazilian was one of Arsenal's highest-paid players, earning in excess of £250,000-a-week.

That proved problematic when it came to interested clubs making a move for Jesus this summer, but he lowered his demands and a €15m package with a sell-on clause was agreed between the two clubs.
"I took a significant salary drop, but it's a dream to be here," Jesus confirmed at his presentation on Tuesday afternoon.
"But it wasn't just me who had to make an effort to get the transfer over the line, Barca also played their part.

"If you had asked me one month ago, I would have said it was unlikely this would happen. At 29, I didn't think I would have the chance to come to Barca.
"When I started to think it was a real possibility, I was so excited."
Jesus was also keen to allay fears over his fitness, having had to contend with serious knee issues in recent seasons.
"The last two years have been really complicated after the knee injury," he said.
"I was out of the game for almost one year, but it's in the past. I feel good physically now.
"I recovered well, returned to action for Arsenal and I am 100% ready to play and give my all."

Jesus was made aware of Barcelona's interest in him last week and was immediately keen for the move to materialise.
He spoke to former Manchester City team-mates Rodri and Joao Cancelo about joining the club, as well as fellow Brazilian Raphinha.

Jesus was linked with Barcelona a decade ago, when he ultimately joined City in 2016, but now he gets his opportunity to play for the Spanish giants.
It comes after Barcelona failed in their pursuit of top target Julian Alvarez, though Jesus insisted he had no issues being the club's back-up option.
He said: "It doesn't annoy me [being Plan B to Alvarez], it doesn't bother me. What annoys me is if people say I'm a bad guy, which has never happened in my life - or if I am not playing football, that bothers me.
"I have the chance to play for Barcelona, a chance I had 10 years ago and now life has offered me that opportunity again."
