Bradley Barcola has finally completed his blockbuster move from Paris Saint-Germain to Liverpool. The Reds also closed in on a deal for French forward Djylian N’Guessan from Saint-Etienne, although he is set to remain in France for the season.
The Reds agreed a £30m deal with Genk for goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans, who will stay in Belgium until next summer.

Cody Gakpo appears set to remain at Liverpool after Manchester City’s £80m offer was rejected, while Harvey Elliott has moved Valencia on loan.
Stefan Bajcetic has also joined Celta Vigo permanently, while Nottingham Forest saw a £30m bid for Trey Nyoni rejected.
Liverpool have until 11pm tonight to complete their remaining business, with Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr and Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh still possible targets.
Meanwhile, forward Keyrol Figueroa has joined Port Vale on loan for the 2026-27 season. The 20-year-old scored 12 goals in 15 Premier League 2 appearances last season and made his Liverpool senior squad debut in October 2025.
Figueroa also made his senior debut for Honduras this summer after previously representing the United States at youth level. Figueroa will now link up with his new teammates this week.
Port Vale visit Swindon Town in League Two on Tuesday before travelling to Salford City on Saturday. Port Vale Manager, Jon Brady, said: “Keyrol comes from an outstanding football environment at Liverpool and has a really exciting attacking profile.
“He’s quick, direct and dynamic, with a real desire to threaten defenders and play on the front foot. He has the strength and technical ability to receive the ball under pressure and link play, while also having the pace and athleticism to run in behind, attack space and cause problems with his movement.
“There’s an unpredictability to him in attacking areas which I feel is something we need and will add another dimension to our team.
“His goalscoring record at PL2 level speaks for itself, particularly in terms of his goals-per-game return, but he’s still a young player with plenty of development ahead of him.
“We’re really excited to work with Keyrol, help him continue that development and give him the freedom to express the qualities he has.”
