Official: Robert Sanchez joins Como on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea (via www.comofootball.com)
Como have officially announced their signing of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Chelsea on the final day of the Serie A transfer window.

Sanchez has joined Como on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea, which does not include an option nor an obligation to buy.

The Spaniard was deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge following their signing of Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who had also been heavily linked with Juventus earlier this summer.
Sanchez is expected to provide competition and cover for Como’s current no.1, Jean Butez ahead of the club’s first ever season in the Champions League in 2026-27.
Sanchez is not the first Chelsea player to join Como this summer: He joins centre-back Trevoh Chalobah, who made a €30m switch from Stamford Bridge earlier this summer.

Como have also added Italy international Moise Kean to their ranks this summer at a cost of €40m, plus Samuele Ricci, Mattia Liberali from Catanzaro, Luis Milla from Getafe, Yan Couto from Borussia Dortmund, Kaiki from Cruzeiro, Andres Cuenca from Barcelona and Willy Kambwala from Villarreal.

“Robert brings experience at the highest level and qualities that suit the way we want to play,” said head coach Cesc Fabregas in a statement on the club website.
