Hull City have finalised the signing of Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam in what is another major boost to Sergej Jakirovic's midfield.
The former England youth international makes the switch to the MKM Stadium for what is thought to be an initial fee of just under £13m, with adds ons potentially set to price significantly beyond that.
Iroegbunam has penned a five-year deal with the Tigers, with the 23-year-old ready to take the next step of his career in black and amber.
The midfielder was due to make the move to East Yorkshire a couple of weeks ago, but an injury picked up in pre-season saw City put the deal on ice. However, Iroegbunam has recovered from the issue and he even came off the bench for Everton on Saturday in their draw with Bournemouth.
As such, he is ready to step straight into City's squad for Saturday's home fixture with Aston Villa and he could make his debut against the club where it all began for him as a professional.

After a spell in the youth ranks at West Bromwich Albion, Iroegbunam made the move to Villa in 2021 and made his senior debut for the club in 2022. He went on to make 19 appearances for Villa before moving on to join Everton in 2024 after a season-long loan spell with QPR.
He has been a regular in the side at Everton ever since, playing 53 games in all competitions for the Toffees.
“I’m very happy. From the first moment I heard about the opportunity to come and join this club, I was excited. Now, it’s finally done. It’s taken a long time but I’m excited to get started," Iroegbunam said after joining City.
“Quite early on in pre-season, I heard about the interest. I was just waiting around, then I got injured. I thought it might have been off the cards, but I managed to recover and get right.
“I spoke to the owner and he explained everything about the club. I’m close with ‘Gilo’(Ryan Giles) – you could call him ‘Agent Gilo’ because he said a lot of things that made me want to come.
“I’ve been around different changing rooms and hopefully I can bring (Premier League)experience on and off the pitch.
“I like to get on the ball and drive the team forward. I like to get involved with big tackles, be aggressive, be on the front foot and show loads of energy.
"The stadium is beautiful – I’ve played here once before. I want to hopefully help this team push and finish as high as we can.”
