Mykhailo Mudryk has completed his loan move to join Tottenham.
Mykhailo Mudryk joined Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan from Chelsea, featuring a non-mandatory £75 million buy option. The move reunites him with manager Roberto De Zerbi, who previously coached him at Shakhtar Donetsk.
He spent the pre-season building up match fitness with Chelsea after missing a significant stretch of competitive action due to a provisional suspension for an anti-doping violation. Cleared by the FA and WADA in July 2026, Mudryk missed over 20 months of official matches before returning.
With Morgan Rogers playing off the left and other attacking options available, it was inevitable that Mudryk would leave on loan this summer.
Mykhailo Mudryk excited to get started at Tottenham
Given he’s joining up with De Zerbi again, Mudryk is rather excited by the prospect and wants to please the Tottenham fans, which may not go down too well with Blues fans.
Speaking to the official Tottenham website, he said:
“It’s a great feeling. I can’t wait to start training and playing for the Club, and I’m so excited to be reunited with Roberto De Zerbi.
“I’m a player who brings speed and creativity, and I want to help in both the offensive and defensive areas. I want to make the fans excited.
“I can see it’s a strong squad here with good players, and I’m looking forward to sharing a pitch and special moments with them.”
Roberto de Zebri also commented on Mykhailo Mudryk
It doesn’t look as if it will be an easy ride for Mykhailo Mudryk at Tottenham, as he’s set to demand a lot from a player who has really struggled to come good in England.
“Having worked with Misha earlier in his career, I know exactly what he can bring to our team.
“He has the quality to change a game with his speed and ability in one-vs-one situations, and is an exciting, attacking talent.
“I will demand a lot from Misha and it is our job to help him find the best version of himself. If we do that then he can become a very important player for us. I am very happy he chose to come here, and I cannot wait to work with him again.”
