Enzo Fernandez arrives as Manchester City's third major midfield investment of the summer, following the signings of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for £116 million and Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille for £85 million.
The 25-year-old spent three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge following his January 2023 move from Benfica in a then-British record deal, establishing himself as one of the Premier League's most influential midfielders and captaining the club to the 2025 UEFA Conference League and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup against Paris Saint-Germain.
