The summer transfer window is now closed, and Liverpool's business is finally complete, as the club must now move on to the next few months without any incomings or outgoings.
The Reds had a chaotic summer, as Jeremy Jacquet officially joined from Rennes, while three fresh deals were completed to bring Ronald Araujo, Victor Munoz, and Bradley Barcola to Merseyside. There were several notable outgoings, which included Curtis Jones joining Inter Milan and Stefan Bajcetic going to Celta Vigo, as the balancing of the roster continued.
Andoni Iraola now knows which players he will have at his disposal, but that doesn't stop Liverpool from planning for future moves, with the January transfer window set to roll around in just a few months.
So, with that said, here's a look at the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumors.

Cody Gakpo was denied his move to Manchester City this summer, but reporter Foday Manneh claims that the forward will stay until at least January, but an exit could be on the cards once the winter window opens.
It follows terms being agreed with the Premier League club, but an eventual rejection from Liverpool worth over $100 million came as the Merseyside outfit struggled to find a suitable replacement.
Liverpool.com says: It seems as though Liverpool made the sensible decision keeping Gakpo, considering how challenging the end of the market became for possible replacements.
A sale in January could occur for the same reasons, though moves in the winter market are often seen as more awkward due to the inflated prices that are there.
It remains to be seen whether Man City, Tottenham, or another suitor could join the mix, but focus will firmly be fixed on the coming months of the season while he remains at Liverpool.

In the same report from Manneh, it's mentioned that Liverpool could revive a deal for Yankuba Minteh in January, when he is fit and available again.
The Reds saw two bids rejected by Brighton for the winger, with the club moving on to other targets while it seemed tough to get a deal done with the Seagulls.
A return in 2027 could be on the cards, but it's added that other teams have also been keeping tabs on the 22-year-old, which could create more competition for Liverpool.
Liverpool.com says: Considering the price that was quoted, in the region of $100 million, it's clear that Liverpool decided to stick to its valuation of the player and not give in to the demands of Brighton.
While that could prove to be a good long-term strategy, as the club won't have overpaid for an arrival in its eyes, the short-term impact of no right-winger could end up proving costly to the first half of the season.
Add to that the fact that Brighton may not change its stance in January, and it creates some potential challenges for Liverpool to revisit this one in the future.
