Manchester City had an exciting end to a busy summer transfer window with some major deals completed on deadline day.

Manchester City's summer transfer window has come to an end in spectacular fashion. Heading into deadline day, City were aiming to complete two major deals and they did just that. Enzo Fernandez arrived from Chelsea for £125m, while City also welcomed Iliman Ndiaye from Everton.
After Savinho and Omar Marmoush's departures to Tottenham, the Blues replaced them with Ndiaye and Palmeiras' forward Allan Elias, who arrived on Monday. With Ndiaye heading to the Etihad, City agreed to loan Jack Grealish back to David Moyes' side.
Of course, City had already been busy this transfer window before deadline day. Following the departure of Pep Guardiola at the end of last season, the Blues saw a number of senior players depart. Bernardo Silva and John Stones left at the end of their contracts while Rodri joined Barcelona in the most high-profile summer exit.
Upon Enzo Maresca's arrival, a number of other players exited to gain more first-team chances. Along with Savio and Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Tijjani Reijnders, James Trafford and Nathan Ake all left. City needed to respond and the Blues have splashed the cash to back their new boss.
Elliot Anderson arrived from Nottingham Forest for £116m during the World Cup to add depth to the midfield. He was joined by Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille for £85m. The French club were keen for the teenager to return to Lille on loan this season, but the Morocco international made his debut last Friday against Crystal Palace.
The Blues have also focused on signing exciting young players. Jeremy Monga has arrived for an initial £10m fee, rising to a potential £12.5m, from Leicester. He will spend this season on loan at Championship club Swansea City.
Goalkeeper Pierce Charles has rejoined City from Sheffield Wednesday and has been loaned to Queens Park Rangers. City also signed Mathys Detourbet from Troyes and he will spend the season on loan at AS Monaco.
After a pulsating summer transfer window, City will be hoping they are in a strong position to challenge Arsenal for the Premier League title, while also competing in the Champions League.
