After Andrea Berta emerged as the hero of Arsenal's 2025 transfer window, the Italian has failed to enhance the glowing reputation he earned 12 months earlier. The club's inability to secure an elite striker is particularly glaring, with the Gunners now short of two attackers after allowing three senior players to depart, including Ethan Nwaneri on loan, while bringing in just one replacement.
The club have been united in their decisions, yet there is a feeling that more could have been accomplished. It leaves unfinished business heading into the January transfer window and the following summer window. Nevertheless, record-breaking figures were achieved in terms of player sales, which had been an area of the squad under considerable scrutiny, having spent several years waiting for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's nine-year record of £35m move to Liverpool to be surpassed.
Some transfer windows remain open in certain countries, while the club's determination to complete the signing of Andria Bartishvili continues — the Georgian is expected to arrive alongside Victor Ozhianvuna in January of next year.
Furthermore, new academy director Pascal de Maesschalck enjoyed success at youth level, appointing new Under-21s head coach David Horseman and securing some highly-rated young talent. With all that in mind, Express Sport has compiled every arrival and departure at the Emirates Stadium this summer.
