The transfer window is now closed, but not after a dramatic end to proceedings, with Liverpool reported to have made some late pushes on Tuesday.
All in all, it proved to be something of a quiet deadline day for the Reds, whose sole signing on the day was goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans. The 18-year-old will head back to Belgian side Genk for the 2026/27 season before returning to Anfield next year after signing a long-term contract.
Liverpool's big signing of course came a day earlier, with Bradley Barcola finally completing his move from Paris Saint-Germain, although reports suggest there may have been attempts to bring more players in before the deadline.
It's claimed in France that late push was made for Chelsea defender Malo Gusto, while it has also been reported that a call was made to Lamine Camara and Monaco, with the midfielder's move to Stamford Bridge having dramatically collapsed.
The attention will now be fully on the pitch, with Andoni Iraola's side looking for their first win of the season after starting the campaign with back-to-back draws, but there will no doubt be plenty of fallout following the transfer window closing.
