Former Liverpool defender Conor Coady has confirmed he’s back at the club after leaving Wrexham.
Coady is a free agent after agreeing to terminate his contract with the Championship side earlier this week, just a day before the transfer window closed. The 33-year-old joined Wrexham last year from Leicester City in a deal thought to be around $2.7 million (£2M), although he only made six appearances for the Welsh club.
Although the transfer window has now shut in England, Coady will still be able to find a new club before the window re-opens in January. In the meantime, he has linked back up with his boyhood club.
Coady came through Liverpool’s academy and made two first-team appearances before leaving Anfield for Huddersfield Town in 2014. Since then, he has also had spells at Wolves and Everton, as well as spending time on loan at Charlton last season.
The defender has revealed to BBC Radio 5 Live that he is back training with his former club’s academy, while also helping out U21s head coach Rob Page.
"I'm trying to keep myself busy. I'm lucky enough to get the opportunity to go into Liverpool's under-21s,” Coady said.
"I came through there. I'm doing a little bit of coaching with the boys, which has been brilliant."

Coady is still searching for a new club after leaving Wrexham, although he has offered his services to the Reds as he looks to secure the right move after being left frustrated with the Red Dragons.
"The lads at Liverpool are amazing with me,” Coady said. “The players but also Jay Spearing and Rob Page who gave me the opportunity to come in, mirror them a little bit, be in the office before training and look at how they plan a session.
"If they need numbers, I'll jump in and keep myself fit as well. That's what it's looking like at the minute. I'm obviously speaking to my agent about different bits that are going on.
"I'm not massively in a rush because I want to make sure it's right."

He added: "I appreciate Wrexham helping me in the last couple of days and coming to a decision I think is right for everybody.
"I want to make a difference, whether that's on or off the pitch. I want to be a real driving force. I struggled to get that at Wrexham for one reason or another and didn't get the opportunity to do so.
"It was big that I got out of the contract so I could just take a step back, breathe a little bit and go 'what's right next for me?'.
"It definitely needs to be the right opportunity and the right club because I feel like I've chased a little bit over the last couple of years and I don't want to carry on doing that."
