Liverpool FC transfers summer 2026: 6 in, 6 out, 11 loans

While Liverpool did not bring in as many players as fans would have liked, the Reds still signed six players to help this season and into the future.

Transfers in – £250.1m

Bradley Barcola – £123m – PSG

After more than a month of posturing and negotiating, Liverpool finally got their marquee signing over the line on the penultimate day of the window for their second-highest transfer fee ever.

Jeremy Jacquet – £60m – Rennes

We have known since January that Jeremy Jacquet would be arriving this summer, and it has been worth the wait. He looks every bit the player we hoped and more.

Victor Munoz – £34.5m – Osasuna

A surprise signing, Victor Munoz has been an exciting addition to the squad as a winger with electric pace who can play both flanks.

Ronald Araujo – on loan – Barcelona

With Liverpool short at the back, Barcelona captain Ronald Araujo was brought in on loan to provide cover at centre-half and right-back.

Ifeanyi Ndukwe – £2.6m – Austria Vienna

Ifeanyi Ndukwe was another who we knew was to arrive this summer, and he looked excellent in pre-season. Unfortunately, due to work permit issues, Liverpool have had to loan him out to Levante.

Lucca Brughmans – £30m – Genk (to arrive in 2027)

An interesting move from the Reds, Liverpool have signed young goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans for £30m despite having played just 15 games for Genk’s first team.

Expected: Djylian N’Guessan – £4.3m – Saint-Etienne (to arrive in 2027)

Liverpool were reported to have landed Saint-Etienne’s versatile forward Djylian N’Guessan, with the 18-year-old due to go out on loan to Ligue 1 outfit Brest to gain further experience before a 2027 arrival.

Sales and free transfers out – £31.7m

Curtis Jones – £30m – Inter Milan

Despite Andoni Iraola replacing Arne Slot, Curtis Jones still felt it was the right time to depart Liverpool, leaving for £30m to Inter Milan.

Stefan Bajcetic – £1m – Celta Vigo

Stefan Bajcetic also brought to an end his association with the Reds, moving back to his boyhood club, Celta Vigo, with the hope of rebuilding his career after multiple injury problems.

Luca Stephenson – £700k – Bolton

Luca Stephenson had two very good years on loan at Dundee, playing primarily as a midfielder, which have earned him a permanent transfer to the Championship with Bolton.

Mo Salah – Trabzonspor

Mo Salah‘s two-year deal that he signed in 2024 was mutually terminated a year in advance, with Liverpool forgoing a transfer fee as they instead saved on his weekly wages.

Andy Robertson – Tottenham

Another free agent exit after the Scot saw out his current deal and was not offered new terms.

Ibrahima Konate – Real Madrid

Despite saying he was set to sign a new long-term contract at Anfield, new terms could not be agreed and he left as a free agent.

Carter Pinnington – West Brom

Liverpool agreed to waive any up-front fee while negotiating a sell-on clause and appearance-based add-ons into the deal.

Tommy Pilling – MFK Zemplin

Another player Liverpool waived a fee for, but appearance and performance-based add-ons, plus a sell-on clause, were agreed.
