Everton can still sign free agents despite the transfer window shutting on Tuesday

Everton have reportedly been offered former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial. The Blues failed in their efforts to sign Folarin Balogun from AS Monaco after the American international rejected a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
David Moyes has been left with Thierno Barry as an attacking option after exits for Iliman Ndiaye and Beto were sanctioned as both forward options completed moves to Manchester City and Fiorentina respectively. With options diminished and the transfer window closes, the Blues are being linked with a number of free agents, including Martial after leaving Monterrey in June.
TEAMtalk have reported that Martial has been offered as an addition to Everton's threadbare strike options. It has been suggested that intermediaries have contacted several clubs in England citing the Frenchman's openness to returning to the Premier League. Leeds, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Sunderland and Spurs are all said to have been sounded out.
The 30-year-old scored 63 goals in 209 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils, contributing 33 assists after nine years at Old Trafford. Martial remains one of the options for Premier League clubs looking for additions in the free agency market.
Everton have been left in disarray following the Eleventh hour breakdown in their move for Balogun after the former Arsenal man walked away from a move.
The Blues have one senior forward within their ranks, while efforts to sign Joshua Zirkzee and Tammy Abraham broke down. Manchester United blocked an exit for the Dutchman, on the other hand, the England talisman preferred staying at Villa Park.
