Ismaila Sarr's agent has taken aim at the Crystal Palace star's failed move to Liverpool. Diomansy Kamara has raised questions over whether the best interests of the player were considered as the Senegal star was forced to remain at Selhurst Park.
The Reds needed to add reinforcements in wide attacking areas following the departure of Mohamed Salah and their woes in forward positions last term. The pursuit of Bradley Barcola eventually were brought to a positive solution when he penned terms on a move to Anfield for £123milllion.
Sarr and Brighton & Hove Albion's Yankuba Minteh were viewed as targets for Liverpool, while Cody Gakpo's future looked set to be elsewhere before a move to Man City was reportedly blocked.

A move for the Crystal Palace star was sparked after Andoni Iraola's side walked away from the move for Minteh due to the Seagulls' demands.
In the wake of Sarr remaining in South London, Kamara has issued an angry statement. He said: "The cases of Ismaila Sarr and Lamine Camara must all interrogate us.
"We have to get out of this logic where the African player can sometimes give the feeling that he is just a commodity: you buy it, you set its price, you negotiate its future and, too often, your will seems to go to the background.
"Our African players deserve respect. The respect of their work. The respect of their career. Respecting their ambitions. The respect of their voices.

"A transfer shouldn't just be a matter of two clubs and numbers. Behind every contract, there's a man, a career, dreams and life choices. The fact that clubs can sometimes have the final word is a reality of professional football.
"But one question remains: what about the career and the will of the player? The player must be able to be heard and respected in the decisions that determine his future.
"Let's never forget what's important: behind every success, it's the players who write history first."

Camara saw a move to Chelsea collapse at the eleventh hour when their agreement fell through. The Londoners had a club-to-club agreement with Monaco before reneging on the agreement, leaving Xabi Alonso's side furious.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT claim Liverpool made a late ploy to sign the midfielder, telling Camara to wait for a possible move in 2027.
