Liverpool's roster for the 2026/27 Premier League season is set to be confirmed, with plenty of different players available to Andoni Iraola from senior stars to academy options.

With the summer transfer window now shut, Liverpool has to submit the 25-man squad that will be registered for the rest of the campaign ahead.
The Reds have registered four new faces to the team, with head coach Andoni Iraola looking to make the most out of the options he has at his disposal moving forward.
That final squad has certain rules that must be met, however, which must include no more than 17 non-homegrown players, and a maximum of 25 registered stars in the overall roster.
That does not include under-21s players - which is anyone born on or after 1 January 2005 for the 2026/27 campaign - with these youngsters not taking up a position in the overall number available to the manager.
So, with that said, here's a look at the Liverpool squad after the transfer window has closed, with players who won't take up a slot individually marked.

Liverpool's goalkeeping department hasn't changed much, with Alisson Becker, Giorgi Mamardashvili, and Freddie Woodman all still in place. The latter counts as a homegrown player, helping towards that quota.

Liverpool's backline has a mix of youth and experience, with Virgil van Dijk still among those with the most pedigree in the team, while Jeremy Jacquet and Giovanni Leoni won't take up a slot because they will be determined as under-21 players.
There are three homegrown options in Jeremie Frimpong, Joe Gomez, and Conor Bradley, who will all once again help the team hit the quota.

There are seven options available to Iraola in the Liverpool midfield, with some strength in depth for some of his key stars, such as Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, and Florian Wirtz.
Promising youngster Trey Nyoni doesn't take up a spot, but does count as homegrown, while James McConnell just misses the cut-off to count as an under-21s player, but is also deemed to be homegrown.

Finishing off with the forward line, there is plenty of quality available to Liverpool, with six players taking up slots in the squad, while Rio Ngumoha, Jayden Danns, and Lewis Koumas could make an impact while qualifying as under-21s players.

Out of those listed, there are at least 23 players who are registered, leaving two potential spots for other academy aces such as Luke Chambers who could feature moving forward.
