Morgan Rogers proved to be the marquee signing after completing his £117million move from Aston Villa. While Chelsea continued to snap up young prospects, several deals were also done for experienced stars as the club switched up their transfer strategy. After spending £283m in the summer window, football.london ranks all 11 of the Blues’ new signings.

The 18-year-old striker could prove to be one for the future and is gaining experience on loan with Burnley.

10. Jordan Henderson - Free from Brentford

While Chelsea signing experienced players is a welcome change, the 36-year-old midfielder should not feature heavily this season.

9. Emmanuel Emegha - Undisclosed from Strasbourg

The 23-year-old forward was prolific for Strasbourg before being disrupted by injury last season and could earn minutes as a rotational option.

8. Marco Palestra - £47m from Atalanta

The young right-back arrives after impressing on loan at Calgiari in Serie A and may have a long-term future at Stamford Bridge but currently faces tough competition to earn a regular spot.

7. Geovany Quenda - £40m from Sporting CP

The 19-year-old winger is highly rated, becoming the latest jewel to be added to the club’s formidable attacking options.
