Steven Taylor reckons that former Newcastle United duo Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali will live to regret their decision to head for the bright lights of London.
Both loved by the Toon Army, Tonali has endured a tough start at Tottenham Hotspur after his £100million move from St James' Park while Bruno Guimaraes is no longer guaranteed a game with the Gunners following his £75m switch from Tyneside. Taylor seen them come and go at Newcastle and was at the club when former favourites such as Demba Ba, Andy Carroll, Yohan Cabaye and Mathieu Debuchy all left to seek bigger and better.
But the former England Under-21 star has suggested it doesn't always get bigger than being adored by the Newcastle faithful.
Speaking about Bruno's move to Arsenal, Taylor told Stadium Astro: "He's made the worst decision. I don't understand why he'd leave Newcastle to go to Arsenal, but he made his decision. I'd give that transfer 1/10."
And after watching Newcastle's 2-0 win at Spurs in which Tonali was CHEERED off the field by the 3,083 Toon fans in the capital, Taylor admitted he could see plenty of regret as the Italy star looked miserable after being hooked.
Taylor said: "Seeing Tonali's reaction when he came off the pitch, he does not want to be getting subbed. He was a big signing for them, and he wants to stay on. So he will be disappointed with himself because Newcastle nullified him quite well."

Tonali has it all to do to justify his £100m price tag with two Premier League outings failing to earn a single point after two defeats. A miserable day was capped by the ex-AC Milan star being mocked and jeered by the Newcastle fans who used to chant his name.
The former defender said: "He tried too hard and the Newcastle fans gave him hell and the players as well. I'm sure there were a few things said on the pitch with former players getting into as well. He's usually a problem to play against, but against Newcastle he didn't cause any."
And Taylor warned that the experiences of Bruno and Tonali so far after social media stick and the Italian's hot reception will be nothing later in the season when the pair return to St James'.
Taylor said: "It's always good and the manager will be saying: 'Let's get into them'. You want to make sure the tackles are going in. You want to upset them and you know their weaknesses."
