Man Utd Injury News And Expected Return Dates: Updates On Carlos Baleba, Amad & 3 Others

Man Utd head coach Michael Carrick says that new signing Carlos Baleba is still “weeks” away from returning to full fitness.

The midfielder was introduced to the crowd at the Ipswich game last weekend, but he is currently on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Baleba picked up the issue in Brighton’s friendly against Strasbourg at the beginning of August.

He won’t be available for the trip to Everton this weekend, and he could miss several more matches, including the Manchester derby.

Expected Return Date – Sunday 20th September vs Fulham (a)

Amad

Carrick said before the Ipswich fixture that the Ivorian international will be out for “a little bit longer”.

There have been claims that Amad could be unavailable until the next international break, but those reports have not been substantiated.

If it turns out to be true, the winger could miss the league matches against Everton, Manchester City and Fulham, the Champions League group fixture against Salah and the Carabao Cup third round tie versus Brighton.

It’s probably best to wait and see what Carrick has to say on the matter in his pre-match press conference later this week.

Expected Return Date – Unknown
