Andoni Iraola is expected to be without five Liverpool players for Friday night's Premier League match at Ipswich Town (8pm kick-off). Liverpool are looking for their first win of the season following two successive draws to Newcastle and Nottingham Forest respectively.
The Reds had a busy summer transfer window, signing the likes of Bradley Barcola, Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz, Lucca Brughmans, Ronald Araujo and Ifeanyi Ndukwe, spending £250million. The club also sanctioned the sale of eight players.
£123m signing, Barcola is in contention to make his debut at Portman Road, as fans will be excited to see the Frenchman in action. Asked if Barcola was ready to start, Iraola said: "Good question. I see him in a good place.
"He has trained for us, it's true he hasn't had minutes in pre-season. He has been training and it's a decision we have to make. But we have to consider he hasn't had minutes in pre-season games."
