The talented young Brazilian winger joined City from Palmeiras earlier this week, in the midst of a busy summer transfer window.

The most recent incumbent of the shirt was Brazilian compatriot Kayky who wore it in the 2021/22 campaign.
Prior to that, Gunnar Nielsen, Shay Given, Kelvin Etuhu, Paul Dickov, Terry Dunfield and Robert Taylor had also worn the number when representing City.
