Finally, Chelsea have confirmed the arrival of Brazilian youngster Denner. It is a deal that has long been agreed, but only now have the Blues finally confirmed his signing.
While it was not confirmed by Chelsea’s main social media channels, the Brazilian’s arrival has appeared on the club’s website. Denner was one of five players to join before Xabi Alonso was appointed manager.

He joins Valentin Barco, Emmanuel Emegha, Geovany Quenda and Dastan Satpayev in completing a move to Chelsea this summer. All five deals were agreed before Alonso was given the role as Chelsea manager.
Chelsea spent the best part of £300m on new signings this summer, with almost half of that going on Morgan Rogers. But a fraction of it was also sent to Corinthians for the 3-time Brazil U17 international.
How much did Chelsea spend to sign Denner?
Initial reports of the deal going through came way back in March 2025, with Fabrizio Romano among those to claim Chelsea would pay roughly £12m for the defender. He will link up with the CNG squad.

Whether it turns out to be a bargain or another flop signing like other BlueCo-signed youngsters like Omari Kellyman and Deivid Washington – who joined Strasbourg for £13.75m – remains to be seen.
Denner gets the Joao Pedro and Geovany Quenda treatment
Only two players have been handed contracts that will last until the summer of 2034; whopping eight years from now. Joao Pedro signed a new deal this summer, just a year after joining from Brighton.
His contract has been extended until the summer of 2034, while another pre-arranged deal that was made official this summer in Quenda is also a 2034 deal. Now, Denner has joined for eight years.

Denner is the third left-back Chelsea have signed in 2026
Back in January, Chelsea confirmed the addition of youngster Yisa Alao from Sheffield Wednesday. He had played a handful of senior games for the Owls in the Championship, and Chelsea took advantage.
It turned out to be Chelsea’s only addition in January, apart from returning loanees. Then, this summer, Pep Chavarria arrived at Stamford Bridge from Rayo Vallecano. Now, Denner has officially joined.
