Moorhouse shirt number revealed
Anna Moorhouse will wear the number 14 shirt during her loan spell at Manchester City.
The England international joins City in a temporary switch from Orlando Pride until the end of January 2027.
A hugely experienced stopper who was part of the Lionesses’ Euro 2025-winning squad, she becomes the fifth wearer of the number 14 shirt during our professional era.

Its first owner was Nicki Harding, who made ten appearances in our first professional side.
The number then passed to winger Melissa Lawley, who helped us claim the FA Cup for the first time in our history in 2017 during a two-and-a-half season spell in Manchester.
She wore the shirt during her first six months at the Club before switching to number seven, with Esme Morgan picking up the vacant #14 in in 2017/18.
The hugely popular defender would go on to make 87 appearances before moving to Washington Spirit in the summer of 2024.
Six months later, Kerolin joined City and took the vacant number 14 shirt, going on to play an important role in our 2025/26 double-winning side with ten goals in 19 appearances.
The Brazil international’s departure for FC Barcelona this summer means Moorhouse now takes the shirt ahead of her short-term loan spell.
