Richarlison is set to be frozen out at Tottenham unless he is able to agree a transfer overseas after a potential return to the striker's former club Everton collapsed

Richarlison has not been included in Tottenham's squad for the Premier League this season, with the striker now free to explore a move abroad.
Spurs have spent heavily this summer to overhaul their squad after two disastrous Premier League campaigns, with the likes of Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Savio all signing for significant transfer fees. Omar Marmoush has also arrived in attack on loan with an obligation to make the move permanent next summer, nudging Richarlison further down the pecking order.
It seemed as though a return to the Brazilian's former club, Everton, was in the offing in the final knockings of the transfer window with Tottenham in turn lining up a move for Iliman Ndiaye.
But both deals collapsed with Ndiaye subsequently joining Manchester City - and Richarlison now faces being left out in the cold if he remains in north London.
It's been confirmed that the 29-year-old has been omitted from Spurs squad, meaning he is unable to feature in Premier League games for the first half of the season.
One option for the former Watford striker is a move overseas with several international transfer windows still open. Turkey is one such option and there has been interest in Richarlison's services from Trabzonspor, who have already seen a bid for his services rebuffed by Tottenham. Saudi Pro League clubs can also still sign players and could offer Richarlison a career lifeline.
The player, who was left out of the Tottenham squad which lost 2-0 against Newcastle on Saturday, has just one year remaining on his current contract.
A return to Everton, where he enjoyed a successful four year spell before moving to Spurs, looked to tick all the boxes in the final hours of the transfer window. However, Richarlison took to social media to explain why a move would not go through.
Everton trio Richarlison, Anthony Gordon and Ben Godfrey have all been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

“After everything I’ve been through in the last few years, I’ve decided that never again will anyone decide my future for me,” he wrote. “I went through a lot of bad things, and almost all of them happened because decisions were made by other people. Pressure, threats, retaliation — none of that scares me. I’ve been through far worse, believe me.
“I always made it clear, on every occasion, that if I were to leave for another place, it would also have to be good for the club. If it wasn’t, I would never accept it… just as I didn’t when everything here was falling apart and they needed me. I stayed and gave my life to it.
“So, I hope they treat my situation with the same respect that I have always had for Spurs and for everyone who has worked with me during this period. Just don’t try to decide for me.”
