Daniel Brady joins Timberwolves as an assistant
Daniel Brady will be leaving the Houston Rockets organization after serving as the head coach of its G League team, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, during the 2025-26 season.
Brady last spent time as an assistant with the New York Knicks, where he worked under Tom Thibodeau from 2022 to 2025.
He first started his coaching career as an assistant video coordinator for the Houston Rockets in 2014-2015. After being a player development and video coordinator staff member for Mike Budenholzer from 2015 to 2018 with the Atlanta Hawks, he shifted to the Oklahoma City Thunder, first as a player development assistant for Billy Donovan (2018-2021) and then as an assistant coach for the Oklahoma City Blue (2021-2022).
With the departures of Micah Nori and Max Lefevre, Brady joins former NBA player Will Barton as the Wolves' coaching hires this offseason.
