The summer transfer window closed on Tuesday evening, with Andoni Iraola adding four new players to his squad for the 2026/27 season, including Bradley Barcola, who completed his big-money move from Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week.
Ronald Araujo, Victor Munoz and Jeremy Jacquet are also now part of the squad, while Ifeanyi Ndukwe and goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans will join next year following their loan spells.

There are still major question marks over the squad, however, with fans unimpressed by Liverpool’s failure to address issues in midfield and at right-back, as well as their decision not to sign a direct replacement for Mohamed Salah.
According to Liverpool.com, Liverpool turned down a seven-figure offer for Keyrol Figueroa before the transfer window closed. The striker joined Port Vale in League Two before the deadline as he looks for regular first-team minutes after struggling to break into Iraola’s set-up at Anfield.
Keyrol Figueroa featured for Liverpool during pre-season. Multiple clubs had been tracking the 20-year-old, with one unnamed club submitting a seven-figure offer for a permanent deal. However, the Reds rejected the approach.
Liverpool believe Figueroa has a big future ahead of him and preferred a loan move rather than allowing the forward to leave permanently.
Interest in Figueroa came from Ligue 2 in France, Major League Soccer and Portugal. He is yet to make his professional debut for Liverpool, having made 26 appearances in Premier League 2 and scored 12 goals.
He has already represented Honduras, making his debut in a 2-0 defeat to World Cup finalists Argentina in June. His first cap came after he switched international allegiance from the USA, having represented them at youth level.
Figueroa was also named in Liverpool’s senior squad for their Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against Crystal Palace in October last year.
Figueroa signed his first professional contract with Liverpool in May 2024. The son of former Wigan Athletic defender Maynor Figueroa, the pacy forward joined the Academy at U14 level.
