Arsenal could improve their squad even further in just a few months after spending almost £200million this summer. Mikel Arteta added more firepower to his midfield and defence by securing Bruno Guimaraes, Ezri Konsa and Piero Hincapie.
Christos Tzolis was the only attacking signing made by the Gunners after he joined from Club Brugge. Arteta had urged the club to "make some very important decisions" during the window but they failed to secure a marquee forward addition.
Arsenal did make attempts for Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez and Vinicius Jr from Real Madrid but they failed to materialise. The club also sold Gabriel Jesus to Barcelona and allowed Gabriel Martinelli to depart for Al-Hilal in a deal worth £60m.
Viktor Gyokeres, Kai Havertz, Max Dowman, Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka are still on the Gunners' books this season. But if the club struggles in attack in the near future, then Arteta could make some exciting moves to add to his squad.
Julian Alvarez
The transfer saga concluded with Alvarez staying put at Atletico Madrid. Despite the Argentina international reportedly favouring a switch to Barcelona, the forward's decision could shift over the coming months.

Should Arsenal manage to secure Alvarez, the 26-year-old could be a major coup for the club's attack.
Eli Junior Kroupi
Bournemouth were resolute that Kroupi would not be departing this summer, and their position was strengthened by the 20-year-old's recovery from injury. The gifted forward drew widespread interest after scoring 13 league goals for the Cherries last season and Arsenal reportedly maintained an interest in Kroupi prior to the summer transfer window.

The Independent reports that Kroupi will "almost certainly" be an option the Gunners revisit in January. Signing him would substantially strengthen Arteta's choices, both immediately and for the future, with Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres vying to be the club's leading striker.
Andreas Schjelderup
Should Arsenal be willing to wait until next summer for a new left-winger, Benfica star Andreas Schjelderup could turn out to be a steal. New signing Tzolis will only have Eze for competition on the left flank after the Gunners decided to cash in on multiple forwards this summer.

Schjelderup's contract runs until 2028, meaning the Norway international will enter the final 12 months of his deal next summer, potentially resulting in a reduced transfer fee. The 22-year-old is a promising talent with considerable scope for development.
Raphinha
A left-winger who would provide Arsenal with an immediate solution out wide. The 29-year-old is the Barcelona captain but will be in the final year of his contract next summer.

The Brazilian boasts extraordinary talent, having netted 80 goals and laid on 60 assists in 180 appearances for the Catalan club. Bringing Raphinha to the Emirates would also allow Arsenal to harness his wealth of experience and winning mentality.
Karou Mitoma
Arsenal could replicate their Leandro Trossard masterstroke by swooping for Karou Mitoma as an established Premier League performer from Brighton.
