Although the summer transfer window may be closed, the rumor mill hasn't stopped turning as Liverpool looks ahead to potential deals.
The Reds signed four new players over the past three months, addressing some problem areas, but leaving questions about other positions that may be exposed.
Regardless of those concerns, Andoni Iraola will have to work with his players as they are now, with January being the next opportunity for the manager to land some new options if the club enters the market.

Liverpool has reached an agreement in principle with Rio Ngumoha over a new contract, according to TeamTalk, with discussions accelerating toward an announcement.
It's claimed that talks have been underway over the past month, with the 18-year-old now able to sign an even longer deal since his birthday last month, which could see him secure a long-term stay at Anfield.
The contract is believed to reflect Ngumoha's growing stature and importance in the Liverpool side, as he continues to improve and push for more senior minutes.
Liverpool.com says: A new long-term contract for Ngumoha would be quite a boost for Liverpool, securing one of the biggest young talents in the world for the foreseeable future.
It shows not only how well the forward has done, but the trust that has been placed in him to reach the very top, as he continues to push for more minutes.
Following reported interest from Bayern Munich earlier this summer, the new contract would clearly ward off other clubs from making a move in the future.

Crystal Palace boss Pierre Sage has revealed that Ismaila Sarr will need time to process his failed move to Liverpool, after the winger pushed to join the Reds.
Speaking to the press, the manager said: "He has to digest for sure because it's a dream for a lot of players to play with this kind of club (Liverpool).
"He had a good opportunity but in the end it didn't work. If he wants to continue, you have to have a good season with us as he did last year. We know he needs time. Like every bad situation, time does the job and we need time for that."
It's unclear whether the winger will push for another move in January, and whether Liverpool will be back in for him.
Liverpool.com says: It's clear that Sarr made a push to join Liverpool but ultimately failed, leaving both the Reds and the winger disappointed with the saga.
A move in January would make sense if Iraola still needs a forward on the right flank, as well as the player being keen on the move. But perhaps other targets will be on the radar by then.
