The full picture should become clearer when Moyes delivers his pre-match update, but Everton head towards the weekend with relatively few injury concerns.
Christian Nørgaard has been working his way back from the muscle problem which has kept him out of the opening weeks of the season, while Tim Iroegbunam has also been sidelined.
Hayden Hackney returned to the squad for last weekend’s draw at Bournemouth following an ankle problem, while James Garner was also available.
The bigger questions surround Everton’s Deadline Day business.
Grealish has returned for another season-long loan and is available to Moyes, giving the manager a decision over whether to put him straight back into the starting XI against United.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles is another new option following his move from Lyon.
Up front, the options are far thinner.
Beto joined Fiorentina on Deadline Day and the proposed move for Folarin Balogun collapsed after the window had closed, leaving Thierno Barry as Everton’s only recognised senior centre-forward.

There was also that comfortable 4-0 Carabao Cup victory at Preston between the two league fixtures.
United arrive having responded to a 2-0 opening defeat at Hull City by beating Ipswich Town 5-2 at Old Trafford last weekend, with Bruno Fernandes scoring a hat-trick.
