Arsenal Women Complete the Signing of Élisa De Almeida

Arsenal Women sign Élisa De Almeida on a permanent deal following her five-year spell with Paris Saint-Germain.
The defender made 154 appearances for PSG, winning the Coupe de France twice, and had previously played for Paris FC and Montpellier.
She has earned 52 caps for France, played in the 2023 World Cup, and was part of the team that finished as runners-up in the 2024 UEFA Nations League.
De Almeida told www.arsenal.com: “I’m so excited to join Arsenal. This is a very big club and I can’t wait to get started. I grew up watching Arsenal and seeing French players wear this jersey, so I’m proud to take this step. I’m looking forward to playing in front of our supporters and experiencing the special atmosphere they have created.”
Director of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley, said: “We’re delighted to have brought Élisa to the club. She’s a highly experienced and versatile centre-back who will strengthen our backline and add further depth ahead of an exciting season ahead.”
Head Coach Renée Slegers added: “We’re very pleased to add Élisa to our squad. Her composure, mobility and experience are all strengths and I look forward to working with her on the training pitch.”
