Here’s our verdict on Celtic transfer window business from the summer past.
Celtic have had a manic few days in the transfer window as they make a host of signings.
Across Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of their Europa League squad deadline, boss Martin O’Neill has recruited six new players, Chelsea duo Landon Emenalo and Shumaira Mheuka, Wolves loanee Sam Johnstone, Joel van den Berg, Jordan Lotomba and Oliver Sorensen. That comes after deals for Kasper Hogh, Camilo Duran, Mika Baur and Hasseim Hassan.
But just how much of an impact can these players make or have they made in early time at Parkhead? We give every signing a rating out of 10 to see how good Celtic’s business has been or could become.

Kasper Hogh - 5/10
Harsh? Maybe but there’s reasoning behind it. The Bodo Glimt striker has come in and scored a hat-trick against Kilmarnock but his overall play has been questionable. Couldn’t do the business in Champions League qualifiers and arguably is keeping the club’s most in-form player out his natural position when playing. Then there’s the bulging £11m plus package.
Camilo Duran - 9/10
Looks exceptional. Scoring at will while playing out of position out wide to accommodate Hogh but comes into his own in central forward positions. O’Neill said after his goals in the 3-0 win over Aberdeen: “We played very well, some really good goals, Camilo's a star player and I've got to get out of here because we've got a transfer deadline, a European deadline. Thank you very much! Camilo set the tone for us, I think perhaps maybe all season he's done that. He's a really class player, great goal and obviously until you get that goal you just have to be on your guard as much as anything else.”
Mika Baur - 7/10

Not a like for like Arne Engels replacement but perhaps one for Reo Hatate who’s joined Burnley. Looks good technically with an impressive engine.
Hasseim Hassan - 7/10
Fitness has limited his minutes so far but the winger has shown he can be a livewire in starts against Falkirk and Aberdeen.
Landon Emenalo - 4/10
Still don’t know a lot about the Chelsea talent but marked down one as he’s arrived with a knock. Cover is needed too at left-back so not ideal but will have chances to prove his worth.
Shumaira Mheuka - 5/10
Mheuka came off the bench against Aberdeen, and despite his youthful status, looked sharp. Physically imposing and already looks built for Scottish football.
Sam Johnstone - 6/10
Might not have seen him yet but arrives from Wolves with vast experience. As close to a sure bet in goals as Celtic are likely to get.
Joel van den Berg - N/A
Signed from PSV but little known about him yet other than he’s a midfielder.
Jordan Lotomba - N/A

Again, hard to tell with the right-back, but comes from Feyenoord as a Swiss international.
Got on the pitch against Aberdeen. Looks like a technically focused midfielder.
