Anthony Gordon has wasted little time making an impression at Barcelona, with his personality and professionalism earning praise within the dressing room following his summer move from Newcastle.
The England international arrived as one of the biggest additions to the squad in recent years, but SPORT reports that he has avoided carrying himself like the club’s headline signing.
Instead, Gordon has quickly integrated into the group and established himself as another member of the dressing room.
That has been shown beyond the training ground too, as Barcelona fans have already displayed banners dedicated to the winger, while his name has been heard around Camp Nou.
Gordon has made integration a priority

Joining one of the biggest clubs in world football can bring a certain pressure, particularly for a new signing arriving from abroad with a €70 million price tag.
Gordon, however, has handled that transition by keeping his approach simple.
Despite his status as one of Barça’s most expensive and prominent recent additions, he has not behaved as though he is above the established players.
Rather, his humility and professionalism have helped him fit naturally into the group.
The language barrier is still an obstacle, yes, butGordon is working to improve his Spanish, and his efforts are being noticed within the club.
Gordon wants to understand Catalonia

More importantly, Gordon has also taken an interest in Catalan, showing that his intention is to understand the environment he has joined rather than just adapt on the surface.
That effort has also been noticed because it points towards a longer-term commitment to Barcelona.
The winger does not want his time in Catalonia to feel like a temporary stop in his career.
His approach since arriving has instead been focused on becoming part of the club, the community and building relationships with the players who were already there.
