Chelsea Women will discover their six Women’s Champions League league-phase opponents on Friday morning after securing qualification with a 6-2 aggregate victory over Real Sociedad.
Sonia Bompastor’s side booked their place with a 1-0 second-leg win in Spain, and Chelsea have now been placed among the top seeds for the draw.
Here is everything supporters need to know about the Chelsea Women Champions League draw, including the start time, how to watch and every possible opponent.
What time is the Chelsea Women Champions League draw?
The league-phase draw takes place on Friday 4 September 2026.
It begins at 11am BST from UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
Chelsea have confirmed the draw will last around 45 minutes.
How to watch the Women’s Champions League draw
The draw will be available to watch live and free on UEFA.com and through the official UEFA Women’s Champions League app.
UEFA confirms that the draw starts at 12pm CET, which is 11am in the UK.
Which pot are Chelsea Women in?
Chelsea are in Pot 1 after entering the draw as the third-highest ranked club by UEFA coefficient.
The six Pot 1 teams are:
Barcelona
OL Lyonnes
Chelsea
Bayern Munich
Arsenal
Paris Saint-Germain
Chelsea cannot draw Arsenal because clubs from the same domestic association are kept apart during the league phase.
That means Chelsea’s two Pot 1 opponents will come from:
Barcelona, OL Lyonnes, Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain.
UEFA confirms Chelsea are third in the coefficient ranking among this season’s league-phase teams.
Who can Chelsea draw from Pot 2?
Pot 2 contains:
Real Madrid
Juventus
Häcken
Roma
Benfica
Paris FC
Chelsea can draw any two of those clubs.
One will be played at home and one away.
Who can Chelsea draw from Pot 3?
Pot 3 contains:
Manchester City
OH Leuven
HB Køge
Austria Wien
Inter
Servette
Chelsea cannot face Manchester City because they are another English club.
That leaves:
OH Leuven, HB Køge, Austria Wien, Inter or Servette.
How does the Women’s Champions League draw work?
The competition now uses an 18-team league phase.
Each club plays six different opponents:
two from Pot 1;
two from Pot 2;
two from Pot 3.
Chelsea will play three matches at home and three away, with one home and one away fixture against clubs from each pot.
Clubs from the same association cannot face each other at this stage. UEFA also limits how many teams from one other country each club can face.
