Mykhailo Mudryk is already turning heads at Tottenham after joining on loan from Chelsea.

It’s obvious that Mykhailo Mudryk has left Stamford Bridge for a fresh start, joining Tottenham on a season-long loan with Spurs holding a £75 million purchase option.

The key driver behind the move is his history with Roberto De Zerbi, who gave Mudryk his big breakthrough back at Shakhtar Donetsk. Mudryk famously called De Zerbi his “football father,” credited him with completely unlocking his game, and the Italian manager has always defended his raw talent.

After a frustrating spell at Chelsea, reuniting with the coach who knows him best might be exactly what Mudryk needs to reboot his career.

Mykhailo Mudryk’s build catches the eyes of Tottenham fans

Tottenham Hotspur posted a first glimpse of both Mykhailo Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo on their official X account.

The pair could be seen lifting weights, stretching and then taking part in training, with Mudryk even scoring a couple of nice goals to finish off the session.

However, it was the physique of Mudryk that fans spotted.

One fan said: “Mudryk is HUGE.”

“Looks like he’s packed on muscle. If he’s retained his pace then this is very exciting. That last finish is.” Another added.

This supporter said: “He’s going to be good.”

“Genetics are fascinating.” One fan mentioned.

Another brought it up: “He’s literally a body builder.”

Beyond his speed, Mudryk is known for his obsessive gym routine and heavily defined physique, frequently posting intense workouts online.

However, critics and coaches have questioned if this muscle-heavy approach actually hinders his game, arguing that excessive gym work might compromise his natural flexibility, stamina, and fluidity on the pitch.
