Jamie Vardy could be about to make one of the most surprising moves of the summer, with a potential transfer back to the Premier League on the table.
Vardy, 39, will forever be remembered as one of the finest strikers to ever play in the Premier League, having made over 340 appearances while playing for Leicester City.
In the 2015/2016 season, Vardy played a key role as Leicester stunned the entire football world by winning the Premier League, finishing 10 points ahead of Arsenal.
Back in 2025, it was announced that Vardy would leave Leicester and would end up signing for Italian club Cremonese.

Following Cremonese’s failure to hold on to their place in Serie A, Vardy left the club at the end of the 2025/2026 season.
During the summer transfer window, the 39-year-old was linked with the likes of West Ham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Wrexham.
Now, according to The Sun, Premier League side Everton are considering a move to sign Vardy, who is currently a free agent.
It has been claimed that Vardy ‘rejected’ the chance to sign for Championship club Wrexham despite their Hollywood backing.
During his time in the Premier League, Vardy played 342 matches, scoring 145 goals and assisting a further 47.

Everton are being linked with a move for Vardy following a chaotic end to the summer transfer window.
The Toffees had brought in the likes of Brennan Johnson, Hayden Hackney, Christian Norgaard and Jack Grealish.
After allowing Beto to depart for Fiorentina, Everton were set to sign Folarin Balogun, only for the Monaco man to walk away from the deal at the 11th hour.
In a race against the clock, Everton made a late move to sign Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee, but the Old Trafford club rejected the bid.
As a result, David Moyes has been left with just Thierno Barry as his only first-team striker and just 18 outfield players.
Aside from Vardy, it was reported by talkSPORT that Everton have been offered the chance to sign ex-United man Anthony Martial, who is also a free agent after leaving Mexican club Monterrey.
Despite the Toffees’ striker issues, they have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign, winning against Crystal Palace before drawing with Bournemouth.
This weekend, Moyes’ men will face their toughest test of the season to date, with United visiting the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
