Manchester City begin their Champions League campaign next week and the Blues have submitted their European squad for the new season.
Enzo Maresca has overseen his first transfer window in charge of Cit, and all the summer signings are included in the 23-man list, which had to be submitted to UEFA by Wednesday.
Elliot Anderson, Enzo Fernandez, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Iliman Ndiaye, Allan and Geronimo Rulli are all included in the squad having joined City over the summer.
The Blues have been prevented from taking up the full allocation of 25 players because they have fallen short of the four club-trained player target. Only Rico Lewis and Phil Foden meet that criteria and as a result City have lost two spots.
And while Nico O'Reilly and Ryan McAidoo are not named in the squad, both ARE eligible to feature for the Blues in Europe this season having been included on List B - which is for players aged 21 or under who have been with the club at least two years.
O'Reilly has come through the ranks at the Etihad to become a first-team regular while McAidoo is part of Maresca's squad this season having impressed in the academy and in brief appearances against Inter Milan in pre-season and Crystal Palace last time out.
The teenager could get opportunities in Europe and, having signed from Chelsea in 2024, is able to be included in List B and prevents City from having to make a difficult decision in omitting a player from List A.
The Blues would also have been left juggling names had they made an additional signing during the summer, with no headroom in their List A squad. Had Lewis departed, as was mooted at times over the last few months, City would have been restricted to a 22-man List A squad.
Clubs who qualify for the knockout round are able to add up to three players to their squad after the conclusion of the league phase.
