Zxavian Harris has descended to LSU from the professional ranks, if it’s even possible for a 6-foot-8, 330-pound defensive tackle to bring himself down to anyone else’s level.

But testimony from the Ole Miss and Saints defensive tackle on Thursday in a Baton Rouge courtroom stripped away the shine from his NFL backstory.

“They gave me about $190, that’s it, for gas,” Harris estimated his earnings as an undrafted free agent signee. “I wasn’t that far from the Saints, but still.”
