Crystal Palace’s Ismaila Sarr and Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh had keen admirers at Anfield in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool even had two bids rejected for the Gambian international, who eventually remained at the Amex Stadium after the two clubs couldn’t agree a deal.
And now, Fabian Hurzeler has confirmed that Minteh could well be on the move in the upcoming transfer windows.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Brighton’s Premier League clash vs Leeds United this weekend, the German admitted that the 22-year-old could get his dream move to Liverpool – or other potential suitors – in the near future.
“[Minteh] wears the Brighton colours, he wears the Brighton badge – he’s been here for two years now,” the German told reporters.
“We’ve achieved great things together. Therefore, it’s also about him now to commit.
“In the end, we always say we want to be successful as a club, but then you can [also] shine as individuals. If we achieve things together, then attention will come to those players.

“This will be the case this season; if the whole team is successful, then Yankuba will maybe fulfil his dream in the next transfer window,” Hurzeler concluded.
Liverpool don’t have a left-footed player in attack and were really keen on Minteh, who is currently injured.
When he returns to full fitness, it remains to be seen if they rekindle their pursuit, be it in January or next summer.
