Sweden manager Graham Potter
Graham Potter staunchly defended himself during a social media exchange by labelling a former club as ‘dysfunctional’.
The ex-Brighton boss is in the process of rebuilding his managerial pedigree following ill-fated spells at Chelsea and West Ham.

Graham Potter is enjoying his time in the dugout with the Swedish National team
Potter, now manager of the Swedish national team, appears to be enjoying his stint in international football.
He guided Sweden to the World Cup through the play-off stage and despite successfully advancing from the group stage, Potter’s side were convincingly knocked out by France in the round of 32.
Ahead of the upcoming Nations League fixtures against Romania, Poland and Bosnia & Herzegovina, Potter took to Instagram to share his love of pilates.
Alongside a succession of images showing him working with an instructor, he wrote: “Pilates session update! I have a lot of work to do!!”
As is often the case, his post became the target of social media trolls but it appeared that Potter was in no mood for the boo boys.
One troll wrote: "Hopefully you are better at Pilates than you are a football manager.”
Potter immediately hit back saying: “I’ll try not to do Pilates in a dysfunctional place and I will be ok.”
It is unclear which club Potter was referring to with Chelsea and recently-relegated West Ham the two most likely contenders for the jibe.

Graham Potter - Chelsea4
Things did not go to plan for Potter at Stamford Bridge and he was quickly relieved of his duties
He succeeded Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea boss in September 2022 but lasted just seven months in the role.
Following a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa in April 2023, Potter was dismissed having managed just 31 games.
He oversaw 11 defeats during that time and left Chelsea in 11th place in the Premier League.
After almost two years away from football, Potter was appointed West Ham boss on a two-and-a-half year contract.
The Hammers managed just one win in Potter's opening six matches and went on a run of eight games without success as the 2024/25 season drew to a close.
West Ham’s poor form under Potter continued into the following campaign before club chiefs wielded the axe having won just one of their opening five league games.
Graham Potter as West Ham boss4
Potter was sacked after just eight months in charge of the Hammers
Potter has seemingly steadied the ship in Sweden – a country he knows well from his time as manager of Ostersund.
He was announced as Sweden boss on a short-term basis in October 2025 with the aim of qualifying the nation for the World Cup.
After succeeding in his task, Potter was handed a contract extension running until 2030.
