Arsenal have enjoyed a dream start to their Premier League title defence, taking maximum points from their opening two games. They will have their sights firmly set on another successful season, especially after strengthening their ranks in the summer transfer window. The north Londoners only made five signings, with increased depth very much the priority for Mikel Arteta.
Piero Hincapie rejoined the club on a permanent basis following his loan spell last season, while Ezri Konsa, Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis and Illan Meslier also arrived at the Emirates Stadium. Meanwhile, a higher number of players waved goodbye to Arsenal, with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Jakub Kiwior, Christian Norgaard among them.

Despite the summer signings of Konsa and Hincapie for a combined £100m, there's no reason to break up the strongest defensive partnership in the division.
When Saliba is fit again, he should go straight back into the starting line-up alongside Gabriel. The same goes for Timber, who is a better right-back than Ben White.

At the moment, you could make a case for Myles Lewis-Skelly to get in over Guimaraes, but this is the strongest midfield trio on paper.
Arsenal didn't sign the former Newcastle captain for £75m just to keep him on the bench. He'll emerge as a key player for the Gunners once he gets fully up to speed in his new surroundings.
At this point, the front three essentially picks itself. Even though Arsenal failed to sign another left winger, they have a good one in Tzolis, who has impressed since arriving in north London.
He is the clear first-choice option following Martinelli's exit and should partner Saka and Havertz wherever possible, with Viktor Gyokeres able to make an impact from the bench.
