Two disappointing draws into the season and a transfer window that ended in a whimper instead of the much needed bang, and a lot of the preseason optimism has already evaporated. But tonight The Reds are playing newly promoted side Ipswich Town, and should be favorites. Unless, that is, they decide to continue last season’s trend of gifting points to the newly promoted sides.
However, it’s not all negatives around the gaff: we’re all looking forward to (hopefully) get a glimpse of new, very expensive signing, Bradley Barcola today.
