As confirmed in an official statement yesterday, FC Barcelona exceeded the €1 billion mark in their revenue generated for the 2025/26 season, for the first time in the history of the club.
A large part of the revenue boost has been credited to their return to the Spotify Camp Nou after more than two years away, with the stadium expected to bring in more income once operating at full capacity.
At the same time, according to SPORT, Barcelona are exploring new ways to generate revenue from the redeveloped Spotify Camp Nou.
As such, plans for a small amusement park inside the stadium complex are set to be presented to club members for approval.
The proposal will be one of the issues put to a vote at Barcelona’s Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly on 19 September.

Specifically, point five on the agenda concerns an agreement with Babylon Park Spain SL, a company specialising in the development and operation of leisure and entertainment venues.
Another attraction within the Espai Barça project
The initiative forms part of Barcelona’s wider strategy for the Espai Barça project, with the club aiming to transform the area surrounding the new Camp Nou into a destination that remains active throughout the year.
A family entertainment zone would add another attraction for the thousands of supporters and visitors who come to the stadium complex every day.
The project would also allow the club to make greater commercial use of the new facilities while expanding the range of activities available beyond matchdays.

The company has expanded internationally in recent years, establishing a presence in major European cities including London, Belgrade, as well as Madrid.
An agreement with Barcelona would allow Babylon Park to expand its presence in Spain by establishing a venue inside one of the world’s most famous sporting complexes.
For Barcelona, meanwhile, the proposal fits into the club’s broader objective of making the most of the commercial opportunities created by the redeveloped Spotify Camp Nou.
The amusement park would provide another source of activity and revenue outside matchdays, helping the stadium become a destination in its own right throughout the year.
