SALT LAKE CITY — NBA 2K27 is officially here, giving fans the chance to take control of their favorite players and teams.
For Utah Jazz fans, that means getting their first look at how the revamped roster stacks up in this year’s game.

The Jazz are listed as a Tier 3 team. However, that appears to be based on the record in the 2025-26 season, as Utah is tied for the 15th-highest-rated team in the game.
Jaren Jackson Jr. and Lauri Markkanen are tied at 86 overall as the best players on the team. That rating places them both around the top 40 in the league.
Keyonte George is Utah’s next highest-rated player at an 84 overall, sneaking into the top 70.

NBA 2K combines positions, overall, and other factors to build rotations in MyNBA and other modes. As of right now, their take on the Jazz rotation looks like this:
Starters – Keyonte George (29 minutes), Darryn Peterson (32 minutes), Lauri Markkanen (30 minutes), Jaren Jackson Jr. (31 minutes), Jusuf Nurkic (27 minutes)
Bench – Isaiah Collier (26 minutes), Ace Bailey (22 minutes), Brice Sensabaugh (18 minutes), Kyle Filipowski (14 minutes), Jaxson Hayes (11 minutes)
Other Notes
Utah’s two point guards, George and Collier, come in as the 15th- and 28th-highest-ranked PGs in the NBA.
Peterson is tied with Cam Boozer and AJ Dybantsa as the highest-ranked rookies. All three received a 79 overall rating.
For the first time in three years, Utah surpasses the 80 overall mark as a team. In both NBA 2K26 and NBA 2K25, the Jazz were ranked as one of the five-worst teams in the association. This year, they are knocking on the door of the top half of the league.
