Mohamed Salah has admitted that it would be "tricky" to face off with Liverpool, should he come up against his former club in the future.
It follows a new chapter in the Egyptian international's career, as he left Anfield in the summer after a nine-year stint with the club, bringing a close to his legendary spell. After becoming a free agent, Salah had plenty of offers from around the world, but he ultimately settled on joining Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 34-year-old is joined by some familiar faces, as former Liverpool star Fabinho also made the move to the club, alongside Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana on another season-long loan spell.
Seeing Salah in a kit other than Liverpool's is an odd sight for some, though fans are still hoping that he has some success towards the latter end of his career.
That could, one day, include a reunion with the Reds in European competition, and while that is not possible this season, there is a chance of that in the following campaigns.
When asked about his feelings about playing against Liverpool in the future, Salah admitted that it would be a difficult experience to come to terms with.

Speaking to the official Trabzonspor YouTube channel, he said: "I would feel mixed feeling. I would feel this mixed feeling because I've been there nine years.
"I love the city. I love the fans. And we had always special relationship. So it will be very tricky."
Salah ended up making 442 appearances for Liverpool, with 257 goals and 123 assists to his name, winning plenty of silverware in those nine years.
Now at Trabzonspor, he is looking for more success. The early signs on a personal level are positive, with the forward picking up three goals in his first five games for the team.
The overall picture for the club has been slightly more mixed, however. Trabzonspor sit firmly in midtable with one win, one draw, and one defeat in the first three games, while there has already been a change of manager at the start of the campaign.
It has made for an interesting start to life for Salah at his new club, just one month into his two-year contract.
