After back-to-back 2-2 draws against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, Liverpool travel to Ipswich Town’s Portman Road tonight to face Gary O’Neil’s newly promoted side.
Andoni Iraola will be desperate for a first win, but the trip promises to be a tough test. Liverpool have never lost at Portman Road in the modern era, and victory tonight would give them three successive wins there for the first time in their history.

The Reds have made one change from the side that drew with Nottingham Forest, with Ronald Araujo making his first start for the Reds in place of Jeremie Frimpong. That means Araujo or Jeremy Jacquet will start at right-back.
The midfield pairing of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister remains unchanged, while Bradley Barcola starts on the bench. The 24-year-old has trained with the squad since completing his move from Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week.
On why he didn’t start Barcola against Ipswich Town, Iraola told Sky Sports prior to kick off: “I was tempted to start him. He’s looked good in training but he hasn’t played any minutes in pre-season.
“He’s ready, I think definitely we will use him in the second half. But we take caution because we don’t want to lose him straight away. So the next step is to have him on the bench.
“He’s a smart player, understands the game. He’s quite shy, doesn’t speak a lot and is improving his English. He is more comfortable with Jeremy Jacquet and Hugo Ekitike, his friends.”
