**Liverpool finally secured their first win of the new Premier League season with a 2-0 success against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.**
A first-half brace from Alexander Isak got the job done for the Reds as the Swedish striker made it three in three in the Premier League this season.
Liverpool had some standout performances across the pitch and also got a clean sheet after a tough shift away from home.
And Andoni Iraola praised Isak and Alexis Mac Allister for their performances on their travels.
“He’s a massive player for us,” said Iraola via the [BBC](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/live/c6vgy8x2z08et) when asked about Isak.
“My demands will probably not be about the goals; I know he is fit and in good shape. He’s going to produce the numbers.
“My fight with him will be more about other stuff, how to help the team in other situations – but it is good he has already played two full games, scoring the goals, so I am very happy to have him.”
When asked about his midfield, the Spaniard singled out Alexis Mac Allister for special praise after he was restored to the starting XI today at the expense of Ryan Gravenberch.
