Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk helped Alexander Isak get his moment to shine with the Liverpool fans, as the striker proved to be the key difference-maker for the Reds in their win over Ipswich Town.
The Swedish international struck twice in the opening ten minutes, being found by Cody Gakpo both times, to give the away side a quick start.
It was exactly what Andoni Iraola wanted from his side, after warning them to start quicker following the opening two games that saw the opposition take the lead.
From that point onwards, Liverpool largely controlled the match. There were fleeting opportunities for Ipswich, but any chance for the hosts was quickly snuffed out and turned over into an opportunity for the visitors.
At the centre of it all was Isak, who will be hoping that it is the start of a more successful season this time around, following a previous campaign that was hit by fitness concerns and injury.
It has already seen the striker match his tally from last season in the Premier League, and captain Van Dijk ensured the forward got his moment to shine.
The defender pushed Isak towards the traveling Liverpool supporters to ensure that he got his moment in front of the fans, who sang his chant over and over to show their appreciation.
The captain was also full of praise for his teammate in his post-match interview, claiming that no one had doubted his ability and quality, despite the difficulties he has faced in the early part of his career at Anfield so far.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "We have never doubted his quality. He had a bad injury last season. He put in hard work every day to get back as soon as possible.
"He had a very good pre-season and is getting up to speed now. We know how good he is and he is showing that to the world in a Liverpool shirt."
It certainly marks a positive start for Isak, who will be hoping to take that momentum into the rest of the month, with a few important games coming up before the international break.
Next up is a return to the Champions League for the new campaign, as Liverpool plays host to Atletico Madrid, with a tough clash opening the league phase for the Reds.
Fulham and Bournemouth then await in the Premier League, with a Carabao Cup clash against Tottenham sandwiched in the middle, before that three-week international break that offers a chance for true reflection on the start.
