Liverpool is already looking ahead to the coming transfer markets, following a summer window that brought about four new arrivals to the team.
The market was filled with chaos, but the Reds seemingly view the past few months as successful, finding options to replace the influence of Mohamed Salah in the wide areas, while strengthening the centre-back ranks.
There are concerns, however, about the profile of midfielders available to Andoni Iraola, as well as a lack of certainty over the right-back options at the club.
The right-wing could also be a problem, with a bias towards the left side within the squad that could require some fixing in the months ahead.
So, with the January transfer window next up, here's a look at the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumors for the day.
Michael Olise (Bayern Munich)

Liverpool has continued to be linked with a move for Michael Olise, with interest in the Bayern Munich star dating back years at this point.
Considering the lack of right-wing options, it would be a wise move for the Reds, though any switch for the French international has always been viewed as difficult due to his importance to the Bavarian outfit.
However, journalist Christian Falk claims that Olise could soon sign a new Bayern Munich contract that would include a release clause. The former Crystal Palace man has a deal that runs until 2029, and while a new contract could secure his future, a release clause could let Liverpool or other teams push to get him through the door.
Any clause would be expensive, however, with figures upwards of $175 million touted as a potential starting point.
Liverpool.com says: Any move for Olise was always viewed as unlikely, and while a release clause could help remove the obstacle that Bayern Munich poses in discussions, it doesn't remove the price point.
Considering the recent transfer spend in the forward lines, another huge deal on Olise looks tough to do, even if the clause is involved.
Mateus Mane (Wolves)

Liverpool is continuing to track a move for Wolves wonderkid Mateus Mane, as TeamTalk reports that the 18-year-old striker remains on the club's radar.
Mane impressed at times for the Old Gold in the Premier League last season, despite relegation, with the report claiming that the Reds made a late move for him this summer that proved unsuccessful.
Manchester United is also tracking the forward, alongside other clubs in Europe.
Liverpool.com says: Liverpool is clearly looking to build for the future, and a player like Mane could offer plenty of potential, as well as some quality for the here and now.
The main concern may surround the price that Wolves would set, considering that so many teams are looking at the youngster as a potential transfer target.
However, if the price is reasonable, then a move makes sense for where Liverpool is trying to go.
