Andoni Iraola now knows what it feels like to lead Liverpool through a transfer window. A summer filled with tension, anticipation and disappointment may be among the emotions the Reds boss likely would have felt.
Iraola, 43, signed three new first-team players in Victor Munoz, Ronald Araujo and Bradley Barcola, while the summer also marked the long-awaited arrival of Jeremy Jacquet, who was signed during Arne Slot's reign at the club.
While the Reds failed to bring in a right-winger to make up for Mohamed Salah's departure, the Premier League giants could secure a previous target in the January window. Meanwhile, the Reds clinched a new signing days after the chaos of the transfer deadline ended.

Iraola looked set to make Yankuba Minteh his new right-winger last month, but Brighton remained resilient in their efforts to keep their star man. The Seagulls rejected bids of £50million and £60m from the Reds, with the 22-year-old remaining at the Amex Stadium, for now.
The Spanish boss has received renewed hope that Minteh could be on his way out of Brighton after manager Fabian Hurzeler hinted that the Gambian international could leave the club during the winter.
The 33-year-old said: "If the whole team is successful and the individual shines then Yankuba will get a lot of attention again and he can then maybe fulfil his dream in the next transfer window."

The Bradley Barcola saga and the general chaos of Deadline Day may have left some fans in a whirlwind. However, the Reds had good news after the September 1 deadline, announcing that a deal had been agreed to sign Djylian N'Guessan.
The news was officially revealed on Friday, with the Saint-Etienne forward, 18, set to join Liverpool permanently in January in a £4.3million move. The teenager has been sent on loan to Ligue 1 outfit Stade Brestois for the 2026/27 campaign.
N'Guessan has made 13 appearances for Saint-Etienne, scoring once and has appeared seven times for France in their run at the U20 World Cup last year, finishing fourth.
