Manchester United’s squad will be the same as at the beginning of the season, as Michael Carrick didn’t add to his squad on transfer deadline day. The Reds’ boss didn’t discuss any new injuries, nor any existing ones, and therefore we can assume that the squad is similar to the one that demolished Ipswich last weekend.
Kobbie Mainoo’s impressive performance will likely see him cement his role in the midfield behind Bruno Fernandes, who will be looking to continue his good run of form after he took home the match ball with a hat-trick.
He did discuss the potential of Patrick Dorgu playing at left back after United failed to secure a new face in the position. “He played off the right for Denmark and scored a great goal in the summer, he can play left-back. He can do a number of things. At some point he might have to do that. There are times in training when he does it. He’s only young and having the attributes he has got, we have to try and get the most out of him”.
New signing Carlos Baleba will still be sitting on the sidelines with an ankle injury. Manuel Ugarte, Matthjis de Ligt, and Amad Diallo will also miss the trip with injuries.

The Last Word: Match Prediction
Everton vs Manchester United is a game of two Premier League stalwarts; however, recent fixtures haven’t lived up to expectations. With both games finishing 1-0 last season, they have been far from a goalfest.
After a lacklustre transfer window for both teams, fans will have to get behind their current squads, even if neither team signed a forward, something both needed.
Everton will look to capitalise on an uncertain United defence, who have conceded two goals to two promoted sides, and with Thierno Barry’s four goals in three games, he could prove a handful for Lammens and co.
If United start slow like they have done in both of their games this season, Everton have the quality to take the game out of reach by half-time. But if Carrick’s men are able to control the game with Mainoo and Fernandes having plenty of the ball, expect the superior attacking talent of Manchester United to pay dividends.
The Red Devils may have to rely on Benjamin Sesko coming off the bench to score the winner again; however, fans won’t mind as long as they leave the Hilldickson Stadium with three points.
