Charles Barkley has been a part of Inside the NBA since 2000 and ever since Shaquille O'Neal joined the show it has become one of the most popular and beloved NBA analysis shows in the United States.
Despite returning to broadcasting after the show was taken of TNT and transferred to ESPN, it seems that next season will be the last for Barkley and his co-host, Ernie Johnson.
The legendary player appeared on the Bill Simmons Podcast and recalled Johnson asking him to stay for two more years last summer.
"I said: 'I love you, man. You're the best. I'll stay for two more years,'" Barkley said.
"Me and Ernie are a package deal. So right now, unless Ernie changes his mind, next year is my last year, 100 percent."

While the show had many different players and analyst over the years, the three most popular alongside Johnson were Barkley, O'Neal and Kenny Smith.
Smith was the first to join the show among the three in 1998 with Barkley coming along in 2000.
Finally, before the 2011-12 season, O'Neal joined the show completing one of the most beloved studio show rosters in American sports broadcasting.
